From Martes you can see, five kilometres away, the crag on which stands Berdún, the capital of this unique world. Martes is at the crossroads between the Way of St. James, the Aragón river and the access to the Pyrenees. The river is wide and gives character to the village, which has watched over the bridge since the early years of the Kingdom of Aragon. You must see the parish church and its altarpiece, and wander through its charming streets full of details from other centuries.
