To the west of Pau, the historic town of Lescar is discreet. And yet… It has watched over our people peacefully for 2000 years…

This is where it all began: it was the first capital of Bearn with its Gallo-Roman town, then a bishopric until the Revolution, enriched by a Romanesque cathedral which houses the tombs of the last kings of Navarre.
